Over the last couple years as the real estate market tumbled builders have been trying everything to turn apprehensive prospects into buyers. Unfortunately, the bag of tricks: Cars, Vacations, pools, and green building didn’t resonate with prospects. Even the most tried and true method of deep dollar discounting didn’t work. Because buyers are scared to death that they may pay too much as the market continues to fall, they patiently wait it out.
How does this vicious cycle end? Well, I believe some builders have found an answer.

Jerjef construction) apparently
Veranda Place has made some serious changes and 100 foot wide 1/3+ acre lots that used to be in the mid $100’s are now being offered at 50k. That’s truly unbelievable considering what a gem this community is. This means, homes previously starting in the $400’s are now being offered from the mid $200’s. Compelling value like this truly makes a difference regardless of market conditions. Just thinking about how proud and lucky those customers will be in 5 years makes me jealous!!!
